Tony Strutt has been involved in sailmaking for the past 15 years. He has contributed to numerous projects, including upgrades to the Cape Town loft, such as the erection and setup of a state-of-the-art FiberPath membrane plant. A champion windsurfer, Tony represented South Africa in 1981/82 in Sardinia. He is also trained in information technology and previously served as Managing Director of a leading data storage firm. Tony brings an incisive mind to any problem. With extensive experience in sailing—from dinghies to ocean racers—he has earned many medals to his credit. Dallen returned from Europe in June 2011, where he was managing top race boats such as the Farr 40 Charismaand the Ker 46 Tonnerre, before joining Ullman Sail’s Durban loft. He has a strong background in sail training, having served as chief instructor at one of South Africa’s leading sailing schools. With extensive experience in racing, sail training, and yacht deliveries, Dallen has developed a deep understanding of the needs of both cruising and racing boats, enabling him to provide Ullman Sail’s clients with expert advice.
In 2020, Dallen relocated to Cape Town to take on the role of Key Accounts Manager, where he is responsible for overseeing OEM clients and ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.

As part of the Ullman Sails South Africa team, Morgan brings a depth of sailing experience shaped by years of competition and involvement in the sport. With a strong background in competitive dinghy sailing, he distinguished himself in the Finn class and represented South Africa at the GP14 World Championship in 2000.
He is also an accomplished keelboat sailor, having secured multiple ORC and IRC National Championship titles. A two-time Lipton Cup competitor, Morgan continues to remain active on the racing circuit.
As part of the Ullman Sails South Africa team, Morgan brings a depth of sailing experience shaped by years of competition and involvement in the sport. He has secured victories in prestigious events such as the Cape to Rio, Round Britain and Ireland, the Caribbean 600, Key West, Cork Week, Cowes Week, and the Middle Sea Race. A defining moment in his sailing career was becoming the first South African to compete in the legendary Mini Transat 6.50—a solo transatlantic race from France to Brazil—where he achieved an impressive 9th-place finish.

What continues to drive him is the ever-evolving nature of the sport — as boats become faster and more advanced, the demands on sails change too, presenting constant new challenges and opportunities for innovation.
A notable milestone in Wesley’s career has been earning a promotion to a management position, followed by a transition into a sales representative role. These achievements reflect both technical skill and a strong commitment to client service and leadership within the sailmaking industry.
