It is for this reason that the challenging teams of the America’s Cup have chosen it for their crew training for the next three years.

And Ullman Sails is excited to be involved with building FiberPath sails for the brand new Macchia Mediterranea TP52, while our very own performance manager, Francesco De Vita, will form part of the crew. Ullman has built the TP52 a sexy square top mainsail as well as a Code 2 and 3 in new DP film with a stunning matt black finish, as well as two asymmetrical spinnakers, one being an A1 light air reacher and the other an A2 medium air runner. We look forward to following their performance on the racecourse!

The Macchia Mediterranea project aims to build a performing, well-defined and structured reality that will become a point of reference in the sailing world. The core mission is to spread the sailing culture by successfully participating in the major Mediterranean offshore regattas and by transferring knowledge and skills of professionals, who covered many miles and achieved as many goals, to the young talents that will enter this world.
