Jon Pegg

Jon grew up sailing on the Yealm, starting at a young age and later training in yacht and boatbuilding, which solidified his passion for the water. Over the years, he has managed race boats, skippered charter America's Cup boats, captained a 72′ ketch, sold yachts, and distributed marine hardware and rigging for a leading UK rigger. An experienced racer, Jon has helmed Farr 45s, campaigned a J133 with an RORC overall win, served as tactician for the winning British team boat in the 2012 Commodores Cup, and earned victories in the Torbay and Dartmouth Regattas. Now, he races everything from Ker 40s to A35s and his cherished Devon Yawl. With this extensive boating knowledge, Jon is well-suited to drive the exciting developments underway at Ullman Sails
