#RacingwithUllman Terms and Conditions
The #RacingwithUllman competition is open to anyone aged 18 and over.
Individuals employed by Ullman Sails or any of its licensees or dealers may not enter.
Entries of boats displaying Ullman Sails only will be accepted.
The organizers cannot be held responsible for entries that do not arrive due to an entrant’s internet security settings or restrictions placed by their internet service provider, or that are incorrectly uploaded by the online form or that do not include #RacingWithUllman when entering through Instagram and Facebook.
All entries must be the original work of the participant, who has not relinquished relevant rights to a third party, and by submitting the entry the participant claims that this is so.
Multiple entries are permitted.
If the participant selects to send photos via email, entries must be submitted in JPG or PNG format as per the requirements on the online form. The organizers may request RAW and high-resolution photos if these are required.
No borders are permitted on photos submitted, and copyright watermarks are to be unobtrusive so as not to spoil the photo (large or baldy-placed watermarks may impact negatively on judging).
Entries should be a faithful representation of the original scene. Post-production adjustments should be used appropriately, and not to deceive the viewer or misrepresent the reality.
The competition organizers reserve the right to refuse photos that in their sole judgment are unsuitable for publishing in this competition, for whatever reason they deem it.
Entrants grant Ullman Sails non-exclusive permission to publish their submitted photos on their websites and social media channels without compensation of any kind to the participant.
Entrants grant Ullman Sails a non-exclusive, irrevocable license to reproduce, publish and communicate to the public by any means and exhibit their awarded entries in all forms of media throughout the world, including event activations.
Ullman Sails acknowledges that the promotion of the #RacingwithUllman is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram or Facebook.
By entering the #RacingwithUllman competition, participants confirm that they have agreed to the rules of the Competition.
Any entry found not to comply with the rules may be disqualified at any stage of the competition and any prizes will be forfeited.
Entrants grant Ullman Sails the right to add their details to the Ullman Sails newsletter subscriber database, from which they are free to unsubscribe at any time, by following the prompt in the footer of each newsletter.
Judge’s decision is final, no correspondence will be entered into.
The organizers may cancel the competition at an time if they consider participation to be unreasonably low.
Only legitimate likes and comments will count on social media, if it is suspected that any likes have been artificially generated or purchased then the contestant will be disqualified.
The grand prize includes 1 x Red Line “Bruce Hollis Designed” Racing Spinnaker, including sail bag and delivery by the local loft.
Prize must be claimed within 6 months or transferred on condition that it can only be transferred to a junior sailing program chosen by the winner.
Delivery of any prizes is at the discretion of the organizers and may be withheld or delayed for any reasons at all including, but not limited to any restrictions of whatsoever nature due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
