Rachael England started at Ullman Sails International in 2018 as the Administration Assistant. Rachael then saw an opportunity to use Ullman Sails South Africa’s off-cut material and obsolete sails to produce a range of up-cycled bags. She was then promoted to the Manager of Ullman Gear Division where she designs all the unique up-cycled bags and accessories, and sources the perfect sail material for each item. She also designs clothing and promotional items for Ullman’s licensees and customers.

So far she has partnered up with a couple of retailers who now stock Ullman Sails Gear in their stores. She is passionate about the environment and is always looking for innovative ways to make use of up-cycling.

Rachael has studied graphic and product design and got some help from a family friend, but from what Ullman Sails can see, she is a natural at what she does!
