Sail Design & Analysis

Ullman Sails uses award-winning 3D design tools that allow our team to optimize both sail shapes and structures for the perfect flying shape. Through cutting-edge numerical analysis, sail shapes are refined, and structures are engineered long before production begins. We continually push the boundaries of existing sailmaking technologies while evaluating new innovations to enhance the sailing experience for our customers.

STATE OF THE ART 

Superior Membrane Production

Our state-of-the-art membrane facility is internationally recognized for our superior lamination and precise construction. Great care is taken in the selection of our membrane components from the fibers and glue to the Mylars and taffetas. There is no size restriction on membrane sail production. The loft has two stringing machines including our ‘long-arm’ machine, which enables us to string sails for any size boat.
