“My favourite part is when you take the sails out of the bag and put them on the rig. They always fit and it is just a great feeling of excellence and excitement, even though I must have had an Ullman sail in my hands a thousand times or so,” says Hennevanger.

The team at Saffier is also always actively looking for new developments that can be used in the next generation of yachts. They are currently working on a brand new Saffier Se 26.2 in the Elegance range and a brand new Saffier Sc 9.5m Cabin In the Classic range. The new Saffier Se 26.2 will still be super easy to sail alone with a large comfortable cockpit but will reach better top speeds than the old Saffier Se 26. The Saffier Sc 9.5 M Cabin will have those beautiful classic lines combining a modern deck and cockpit layout, like the Saffier Sc 8m Cabin, but with a lot more space inside and a larger cockpit.
